O QUE É A DOENÇA DE PARKINSON?

A doença de Parkinson é uma doença neurológica que atinge principalmente o modo como a pessoa efetua os movimentos e a capacidade de se mover. Resulta da degenerescência de um grupo de células de uma zona profunda do cérebro chamada substância negra.

QUAIS SÃO OS SINTOMAS DA DOENÇA DE PARKINSON?

Os principais sintomas da doença de Parkinson são:

- Lentidão e diminuição dos movimentos, que se tornam mais vagarosos e atrapalhando o desempenho de tarefas habituais (bradicinésia).

- Prisão de movimentos sentida pelo o doente pricipalmente ao nivel dos musculos e articulações ( rigidez).

- Tremor em repouso.

- Desequilibrio e alterações da marcha.

The Parkinson's disease is a neurological disease that affects especially how the person performs the movements and the ability to move. Results from degeneration of a group of cells of a

deep zone of the brain called the substance near.

WHAT ARE PARKINSON'S SYMPTOMS DISEASE?

The main simtomas of Parkinson's disease are:

- Slow and decreased movement, which become slower and hampering the performance of routine tasks (bradykinesia).

.- Prison movements felt by the patient pricipalmente the level of muscles and joints (stiffness).

- Tremor at rest

- Imbalance and gait.

Karol Wojtyla nasceu no dia 18 de Maio de 1920 em Wadowice, uma cidade no sul da Polónia.

A sua mãe chamava-se Emília, o seu pai Karol e o seu irmão nais velho, Edmundo.

Karol Wojtyla perdeu muito cedo a sua família, perdeu a sua mãe com 9 anos, perdeu o irmão com 12 anos e perdeu o pai com 21 anos.

Em 1938 foi acolhido na universidade de Saglelonia onde estudou poesia e drama. Durante a II Guerra Mundial de (1939 - 1945) trabalhou numa mina em Zakrzower, na fábrica Solvay e manteve uma intensa atividade ligada ao teatro, antes de começar clandestinamente o curso de seminarista. Durante estes anos teve que viver oculto, junto com outros seminaristas, que foram acolhidos pelo o Cardeal da Cracovia.

Karol Wojtyla was born on the 18th of May of 1920 in Wadowice, a city in the south of Poland.

His mother`s name was Emília, his father was Karol and his older brother was Edmund.

Karol Wojtyla lost very early his family. Her mother died when he was nine, his brother when he was twelve and his father when he was twenty one.
 

In 1938 he was accepted at the University of Saglelonia where he studied poetry and drama. During World War II (1939 - 1945) he worked in a mine in Zakrzower, Solvay factory and held an intensive activity related to the theater, before beginning clandestine seminarian. During these years he had to live hidden, along with other seminarians, who were welcomed by the Cardinal of Krakow.
